Do I need special lights in a bathroom?
Yes. Fittings must be suitable for the bathroom zone they’re in (with appropriate IP rating). We’ll specify options that are both compliant and attractive.
Can you install an electric shower?
Yes—most electric showers need a dedicated circuit and local isolation. We size the cable/breaker correctly and test the installation.
Are sockets allowed in bathrooms?
Standard 230V sockets are heavily restricted and must be well outside the bath/shower zones. Shaver/toothbrush points are common near basins. We’ll advise the safest, compliant placement to BS 7671.
Will I get certificates?
Yes. We provide the relevant electrical certificate for the work and notify Building Regulations (Part P) where required.
Can you coordinate with my bathroom fitter?
Absolutely. We align first/second fix with plumbing, plastering and tiling to minimise disruption.
